Say Yes and Figure it Out Later: A Life in Museums

Our own Leah Melber,  President and CEO of the Adventure Science Museum,  will give a brief timeline of the professionalism of museum careers and how as this ’new' field expanded, she, along with others,  had to set their own professional paths. She will share her strategy of  “Say Yes and Figure it Out Later".  She will discuss how this can benefit anyone, how you can best employ this technique, and through it use examples from her museum career.   This is the lead essay in her recent book,  Teaching the Museum, Careers in Museum Education.
